All the teddybears played really well for their first game of netball.
There was some lovely intercepts by Bridie, Grace and Kate tried their hardest to get the ball
down to our two awsome shooters, Keira and Sophie, while Reiley and Casey did their best
to stop the other team from getting too many goals.
Our encouragement award this week went to Delta Graham for being such a good sport and
filling in for her teammate that wasn't feeling the best.

Well done to the Teddybears for an excellent game on Saturday. All girls played extremely well and are really starting to pick up on the finer points of the game.
Fantastic shooting from Sophie and Grace saw the Teddybears score lots of great goals. All of this was possible with the help of the centre court players Delta, Kiera, Bridie and Kiera while Reiley and Casey helped with their great defence.
Thanks goes to Bridie for filling in on two occassions, what a fabulous team member.
The Encouragement Award this week goes to the sharp shooting Sophie, well done!!

14/05/11 07 OUR TEDDYBEARS v 07 OLSS JOEYS
Once again the 7 Teddybears played a great game after a very chilly morning at Adcock Park.
Players are starting to find open spaces and come forward for the ball.
Sophie played a great first half, unfortunately for our opposition OLSS, after volunteering to to
play for their team as they were a player short. Delta and Reiley also kindly put their hand up to
help out the other team, well done girls.
The girls in defence, Keira, Sophie, Casey and Reiley played so well that the girls in the circle, Grace
and Delta and Reiley, saw little of the play but tried hard when they did get the ball.
For that, Keira B got the Encouragement Award for this week for her wonderful defence!

Well done girls for another impressive game on Saturday. All girls played really well and moved the ball down the court fluently. Finding our 'own space' is steadily developing and is something that will continue to improve as the girls become more experienced.
Casey worked really hard in defence and was the recipient of the coach's Encouragement Award this week, congratulations!

The girls played a fantastic game on the weekend. All girls tried really hard and have improved tremendously over the season. Our shooters Reiley and Casey tried hard in the shooting circle. The centre court girls Sohpie, Delta, Grace and Kiera did extremely well getting lots if intercepts and passing well down the court. Bridie, Kate and Kiera tried valiantly against some excellent shooting. Unfortunately we have a bye for the last round so this was our last game. A big congratulations to the girls for their efforts this year and a big thanks to their coach Jennie for her hard work!
