WON 20-12
We had a rusty start to the season, but the girls had lots of determination to win, so with the help of some fine defence from Dana, Alex, Jess and Meagan the girls pulled through for their first win on the season. As I was playing I was unable to coach them so its a credit to them for the win.

We had 3 players away, and borrowed from IJE. Thank you to Nicola and Emma, ladies you played amazing. Our Defence was great from Dana, Jess and Alex as always, and mid court was very strong with Annie, Kristy and borrowed players. A special thankyou to Megan for playing Shooter as she plays mid court normally. You worked well with Kristy and took a lot of punishment in the circle from Davistown well done to my shooters that day.
Have a nice break and lets do it again when we have our team all back,

30/04/11 CADET 2 OUR CURRAJONGS v CADET 2 AP GEMINI
LOSS 45 - 33
For the first time this season we had a full team, but this did not help us with our loss of 45-33
against Apollo. Our best quarter was the 2nd but the rest of the game was ordinary.We need to
focus a little more and all give 100% effort. I know that it is always hard after a break so we
will learn from this and will left ourselves and player better as we know we can.

What a win! I placed my girls on the court and had to then go and play my own game. The team took control of the game and the situation and proved that they can organise themselves and make the right decisions to win the game. The girls all had input and played and exceptional game All my girls should be very proud of themselves. The comments from parents were pleasing to hear as everyone give 100% Well Done

With another amazing win of 49-16 against Kariong.
The girls played well with a few of the girls sick and still committed to playing it was wonderful
to see them playing different position and supporting everyone.

WON 44 - 35
Another exciting win for the girls, as I was playing another game my girl guided themselves to victory and 2nd place on the ladder. Apparently they were down by 6 in the first quarter as Kincumber come out strong, but the girls held their nerve and at the end of the 2nd quarter were in front by 6 and just kept going and win by 9. The Cadet 2s spoke to me after the game and said it was one of their hardest games so well done girls.

The 1 quarter the girls went out at a fast pace and were up by 8 at the end, and momentum just
kept going. The girls played a wonderful game and if they play like this each week they will be unstoppable. It was an entertaining game and the girls were very graceful even when it got
a little nasty at the end with some quiet rough play.

Well done ladies, we started a little slow but we then really improved at the end. The umpiring did not go our way on one side but we stuck to the plan to win and the girls proved a point. Well done the
ladies on there win and we now have to focus on our next game against 1st place and hopefully
come away with the win.

Well ladies well done, but we did not play as well as we have as we were a little distracted this weekend which showed in our turn over and passing. Next week we need to put in 100% to win.
With our sickness and injuries we had it was still a pleasing result. Big thankyou to the parents for looking after my team while I was playing.
