WON 28 - 18
The Mustangs have started of the season with a Great Win. Our passing down the court was good as well as our footwork. We all need to work on our fitness so we can continue to be strong from start to finish.The girls who played out of position I thankyou very much. We are still all getting to know each other and where we are most confident in playing. I am sure we will have a great season together. Thankyou Chris for being so organised on Saturday you made my job a little easier. See you all Thursday night 5pm for training.

09/04/11 CADET 1 OUR MUSTANGS v CADET 1 GPCC
LOSS 34-20
The Mustangs took the court with much enthusiasm. The first quarter Mustangs 6 GPCC 4. Second quarter GPCC were to strong. Mustangs 9 GPCC 17. The third quarter we couldnt catch them Mustangs 15 GPCC 26. Fourth quarter we began to make a come back but not enough time on the clock GPCC 34 Mustangs 20. We need to focus on our footwork skills and make sure that we are passing the ball down the court not across court. Please work on your fitness over the next 2 weeks you will find that your game will improve and I will see you all on the 28th April 5pm. Happy Easter to you all.

The cadets are starting to play as a team. We are all getting use to one another and building
up our confidence on the court. Our shooters are improving each week along with the mid court
and defences. Thankyou to Sheree for doing our umpiring each week for the team and the
girls and parents for helping out on canteen duty.

We began the game with a great attitude. Our passing down the court had improved as well as our footwork. We all need to work on our fitness which would probably improve our game. Sorry to Cassie who was injured hope you make a full recovery and get back on the court ASAP.

This was a very close game on Saturday. Our defense players were very strong and made a lot of turnovers. Mid Court worked hard in moving the ball down to the shooters. Our Attack end is improving every week. Just keep up the good work girls we only lost by 1 goal.
