02/04/11 09 OUR PANDAS v 09 NV BUTTERCUPS
What a fantastic start. In our first game with high goalposts and real rules and lots of whistle blowing- the Pandas shone as a team. Our two new players, Alisha and Arie, played like they had been part of the team for years. The “old “ girls – Elle, Abbey, Jade, Giaan and Mackenzie – all played fantastically in attack and defence. Choosing a player of the week was an extremely difficult decision but in the end it was Abbey and her fabulous work as our starting centre, that got her the award.

09/04/11 09 OUR PANDAS v 09 OLSS REDGUMS
After a shaky start, the girls played a beautiful game of netball. The whistle was hardly blown for stepping and everyone is beginning to get the hang of being 3 feet or .9 of a metre away from their player when defending. Abbey and Giaan worked well together as the shooters and had lots of good attempts with 6 goals being scored. Alisha, Mackenzie, Jade and Trisha did lots of work in the centre court both in defence and attack. Arie and Elle's defence in the circle saw many turnovers for our team.
Our player of the week was Jade for her excellent court coverage as centre.

07/05/11 09 OUR PANDAS v 09 OLSS BLUE GUMS
All hail the mighty Pandas. The girls are improving every week and always manage to surprise the sideline with some fancy attack or clever defence. Saturday was no different, with one particular attacking play making the parents cheer even harder. It was difficult to choose a player of the week
as all girls had a fantastic game but in the the end, it was our super shooter Trisha.

14/05/11 09 OUR PANDAS v 09 TW SHRIMPS
The team played their best today against the Terrigal Wamberal Shrimps. They put a lot of pressure on the other team when they were shooting a goal. It was a fantastic game to for all of the supporters.
Giaan: GK She had a lot of rebounds and did a lot of defending. She is a fantastic defender especially when the Shrimps are trying to shoot a goal.
Alisha: GD She is a great defender when there are tall girls around. She is a wonderful girl that can play netball very, very good.
Jade: WD She is a fantastic friend and a great player. She gets the ball a lot and defends a lot.
Elle: C/OFF Elle played for half of the game because she had to swap with abbey. Elle played fantastic for the amount of time she was on. She did a lot of intercepts and as Cathy our coach use to call her “princess of the intercepts”.
Arie:GS Arie did enormously well and shot the first 3 goals that went straight in the hoop without touching the ring. She gets in front of her player a lot that is why she got soooooo many goals. Arie is a fabulous person to be in your team.
Trisha:GA Trisha is a very good person to have around on the court in your team. Today she also shot many good goals. Trisha is a fabulous person to be on your team as well as everyone else.
Mackenzie: WA Mackenzie is a very good WA because she gets in front of her players a lot so other people on her team can pass it to her. She is good at attacking and defending. She is a fabulous player to have on a team.
Abbey: OFF/C Abbey is a fabulous centre but she had to swap with Elle. She sticks with her player like glue so they don’t get the ball. She is a fantastic player.
If this team can stay together for next year it will be a fabulous team.

What a difference a week and some training makes!! I'm sure aliens abducted my Pandas last week but thankfully they were returned unharmed and ready to play unreal netball.
The defence players - Trisha, Mackenzie and Abbey - were awesome. They were always in front of their opponents and got some fantastic intercepts.
Alisha and Jade shot better than Catherine Cox, even with the sun in their eyes.
They used great teamwork to get the ball close to the ring.
Arie, Giaan and Elle were fantastic both in attack and defence.
There were many Panda turnovers in the centre.
Our player of the week was Alisha who showed great teamwork in the circle and shot
some fantastic goals.
Great excitement starting next game. Sheree and I will be starting to move the girls intopositions either attack end, defence end or midcourt.
We can't wait!!!

Another great game by the Panda’s, hard to believe they only have one game to go.
Coastal Waters had our girls working hard and we saw some great shooting from Arie & Jade.
Elle & Alisha worked hard in defence with fantastic intercepts and rebound catches.
We also saw great passing and quick steps in the mid court by Abbey, Mackenzie, Trisha & Giaan.
Elle was a player of the match for her impressive intercepts, well done.
