02/04/11 09 OUR ALLSORTS v 09 GPCC HOTSHOTS
A good start to the new year of netball. The girls had a good training session, refreshing memories of how to play. All over the game was a success with the girls remembering what to do and how to do it from training. Dakota, our player of the match was showing great skills in pivoting. Good effort girls!

As the season goes on I can tell the girls are getting stronger as individual players and as a team. Although our passes aren't as strong yet, getting the ball down the court is the main key we would
like to strive on. This weeks player of the week was Tanya. Congrats Tanya for brilliant
passing around the circle and attempting many great shots.
Remember girls, practice makes perfect!

07/05/11 09 OUR ALLSORTS v 09 GIS STARS
Today the girls displayed brilliant netball skills, although making space and moving away from
the opposition player wasn't shown as well. The moving around the circle area was fairly decent
and arms up defending was brilliant as practiced at training. Showing great defensive skills our
player of the week Tiarna was an excellent goal defence. Altogether a good game girls.

14/05/11 OUR 09 ALLSORTS V 09 CCGS GREENS
In windy conditions at Adcock Park the girls played a great game of netball. Our defending
was excellent!. We just need to focus on getting in front of our player so we can get the ball
moving smoothly down the court. Kayla was our player of the week with great shooting & passing
into Ebony our G.S.
Great game girls, by far our best!

04/06/11 09 OUR ALLSORTS v 09 GPCC HOTSHOTS
Our first quarter started out a little shaky as we were all in different positions. Sarhys & I decided
it just wasn't working so we put all the girls in the postions we think best suit them & it was great!
We all knew what we had to do & we actually looked like a pro netball team. This just proves
that if we train hard at training we will see the results on game day.

Ourimbah Allsorts played so well against the TW Seashells. Our shooters, Kayla and Ebony scored some really good goals, our defence, Caitlin, Tiarna, Tanya and Jackie also did a great job intercepting sloppy passes & chasing loose balls & Annika, Marlee and Dakota fed the circle really well. Great game girls !!!When we played this team last time we were convincingly beaten so this just shows how much we have improved. Niamh & Sarhys.

06/08/11 09 OUR ALLSORTS v 09 KIN BEARS
This week we did not show the same amount of enthusiasm as last week resulting in a sloppy game. We were bunching and making it far too hard for ourselves to throw a good pass. Everyone needs to come in front to get the ball. Just remember we have 3 seconds to get rid of the ball .Although, the goals we did get were excellent ! Kayla continued to shoot accurately. Caitlin got some good touches in the circle. Jackie had a great last quarter in defence. Dakota never stopped running in the centre. Everybody showed great sportsmanship & teamwork ! Keep up the good work girls. See you all at training & again on Friday night at 5pm for the Netta presentation.
